How to use H3 Max Director
Director makes a continuous video session that you can steer while it plays. Your first prompt sets the scene; later directions change what happens inside it.
Set up the first scene
Choose an example above or describe your own characters, setting and opening action. Build the prompts and edit any detail before copying.
Start a session on fal
Open the Director playground, sign in, and paste your opening prompt. Choose your resolution and aspect ratio, then start the session.
Give the next direction
Once the scene is established, send the follow-up direction. Change one action at a time so you can see its effect. End the session when you're finished.
Common questions
Does this tool generate a video?
It prepares text to use in Director. Copy the opening prompt into fal, then use the next direction during your session. Generating video uses your fal account's credits or billing.
How is Director different from H3 Max or Turbo?
H3 Max and Turbo return individual clips. Director keeps a running session and accepts new directions while video is being generated.
What should stay the same between directions?
Keep character names, appearance, clothing and location stable. Describe the action you want to change. For example, have your character open a door without rewriting the whole setting.
